Forum Artists on Display!

Friday, May 1st saw the opening of the Photographers Forum exhibiting artists display at the United Arts Council office. The United Arts Council offices are in the Glenwood South District of downtown Raleigh. The official address is 410 Glenwood Ave Suite 170. However, the entrance to the building is on Tucker Street, behind Sullivan's Steakhouse.

The First Friday reception was well attended.

We are well represented with some terrific images on display so don't miss it! If you missed opening night the exhibit will run through May 27th during normal business hours. Check out their web site: http://www.unitedarts.org

And it wouldn't be a First or even last Friday without a Christer Berg exhibit somewhere and we have one! Now on display at the Seaboard Wine Warehouse (802 Semart Dr. #118, Raleigh, across from Logans Trading company) are a selection of Christer's landscape images.

Carolina's Got Art, and Eric Saunders & Christer Berg too!

Once again the Photo Forum has artists on display, and this time together. Both Eric Saunders and Christer Berg have been juried into the Carolina's Got Art 2015 exhibit at the Elder Gallery in Charlotte, NC. This is the fourth year of the competition which is designed to help promote artists in the Carolinas.

This years selections came from over 3,000 entries. It's no surprise to those of us who attend meetings regularly that both Eric and Christer should have been chosen. Every month we get to see some of the best photography work being done in the Triangle. If you're not attending regularly, you're really missing out!

The Elder Gallery is located at 1520 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC. The exhibit opens Friday May 1st and runs through the end of the month. Stop out and help support a Forum artist if you can!
